The project includes various profiles of community members from Leon County. These profiles explore residents’ stories, from hardships to relationship-building, showing how their lives subsisted in Legacy Communities in Leon County. Some Tallahassee natives describe how their generations are deeply rooted in the city and community, though the community has evolved and transformed.

The team interviewed local residents, gathering information and history from their lives, to create these Legacy Community Profiles. The goal is to highlight the lives of the people who are entrenched in these Communities. The community members each have their own unique stories but often share common values from experiencing hardships, change, and opportunities together.
