Sneads: Ocheesee Pond
Want to go fishing or paddling? Ocheesee Pond is a fantastic little water body, which starts as an open lake lined with cypress trees. The lake winds into a trail that meanders through a pleasant cypress pond. Visitors can have a fantastic kayaking and canoeing experience in the dark tannic water, with approximately 90% of its area covered by cypress trees. This 2,225-acre lake, located south of U.S. Highway 90 at Grand Ridge and Sneads, is an excellent place for fishing or paddling.
